Open City are recruiting a Lewisham Young Curator to work with us on Open House Festival 2026. This is a paid freelance role supporting the planning, promotion and delivery of the festival, with a particular focus on engaging younger audiences in Lewisham.

The role is for a young person aged 18–30 who is either a resident of Lewisham or has a strong connection to the borough. It would suit someone with an interest in arts, culture, architecture or community engagement. It is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on a London-wide festival and to help shape how Lewisham is represented within it.
The role will run from approximately July to September 2026 and is around 22 days in total, generally one day a week with more time required closer to the festival. The rate is £150 per day. The application deadline is Monday 8th June at 10am, with interviews planned for 15th or 16th June.
