Kazzum Arts are seeking a freelance creative arts facilitator to co-lead Brighter Futures, in collaboration with Praxis Community Projects, for the period February 2025 to March 2026.
Brighter Futures is a project with a long history of supporting young people facing immigration issues to have a voice. Membership is open to young migrants aged 18-25 who meet weekly at Praxis to share thoughts, get creative, plan campaigns and events, play games, have fun and eat delicious food together.

Through providing a supportive, safe space for young people to speak about the issues that affect them, Brighter Futures enables young migrants to take the lead in creating social change as well as supporting each other through the challenges they face.
Brighter Futures meets every Wednesday from 6-8pm in Bethnal Green, with the Kazzum artist present for 36 weeks of the year. Brighter Futures will be participating in an exciting exhibition of artwork in May 2025. You can read more here: https://www.brighterfutureslondon.co.uk/
Facilitator rates of pay: £165 per delivery session or full day of planning/evaluation, £85 per half day of planning/evaluation. Facilitators will have access to Kazzum’s Trauma Awareness Training, employee assistance programme and reflective practice sessions.

Interview Date: 22nd January, 29th January or 5th February (between 6 and 8pm) – shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver a 40 minute creative campaigning activity with members of Brighter Futures
