Job Opportunity, Creative Engagement Producer Attic Theatre Company

The Creative Engagement Producer will be responsible for spearheading our engagement with community participants and partners. They will maintain our existing creative activities, building on our network of partners and acting as an ambassador for the company to develop and expand new initiatives from conception through to conclusion.

Working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Director, the Creative Engagement Producer will manage and co-ordinate the existing projects, identify opportunities to generate creative and practical responses to develop co-created projects in our local area.

Attic’s creative engagement programme is made up of three elements, spanning 12 regular projects split across three main themes:

Many Voices: Creative workshops aimed at young refugees, asylum seekers and ESOL learners to support their integration and acclimatisation into the UK

Many Minds: – creative workshops aimed at young people facing adversity and low emotional resilience including N/neurodivergent and SEND young people to boost life skills and aspirations

Many Moons: – creative workshops for older people including dance and singing workshops which focus on boosting wellbeing, mental and physical health and combating isolation

 

Working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Director, they will manage and co-ordinate the existing projects, identify opportunities to develop co-created projects in our local area.

 

This is a half time role (20 hours net a week) for a salary of £14,300 p.a. There is flexibility in how these hours are worked but it may suit someone who wishes to work five half days a week. Some occasional evening or weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu can be taken.

This role is being advertised alongside a part time Artistic Director role. Whilst we are advertising them separately we would be happy to hear from candidates who would wish to also be considered for a joint role on negotiable terms.
