We are looking to meet new artists for an exciting school project. We will be working in a local school running sessions for students in their SEND Department. We would encourage people to apply who have lived experiences with barriers in neurodivergence, specifically with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or ASC (Autism spectrum condition). Our freelancers help facilitate our members’ work, from R&D to performance. They will deliver, with the team, certain workshops and performances, working with young people to tell their own stories and make their own change. We are currently recruiting for this specific project, but our hope is for successful applicants to be able to work across all of Company Three’s projects.
Ideal candidates should:

Be London-based and happy to travel to and from Islington for hour-long workshops at the school

Have an enhanced DBS check or be willing to get one

Have a proven track record of leading drama or theatre groups for young people aged 11 – 16

Lived experiences with barriers in neurodivergence, specifically with ADHD or ASD

Have safeguarding training

Interview Date Mon 17 June or Wed 19 June, for successful applicants.
This interview can be in person or over Zoom. If in person, travel costs for the interview will be reimbursed upon showing of travel receipts.
Job Start Date Mid-June, 4 sessions on Mondays (still to be confirmed with school)
The fee will be £175.00 per session, including planning, prep, delivery and debrief time with a co-lead. Travel expenses for accessibility reasons to and from work will be covered by Company Three and, once hired, you will have the option to have a conversation with our Company Producer to discuss how we can further make this job as easy as possible for you, according to your requirements.
