As a Casual Worker Learning Practitioner for the Museum of London Docklands you'll lead the delivery of anti-racist activities to schools and families audiences on the topics of empire, transatlantic slavery, race and colonial histories. Experience of working in museums is not required and you will receive relevant paid training for any activities that you are asked to lead. Although these roles are open to people from all backgrounds, we particularly welcome applications from people from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds and from male or non-binary people, as these groups are underrepresented amongst our current Casual Worker Learning Practitioners.

You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in leading sessions independently, plus experience and skills in delivering learning activities to a wide range of audiences that reflect London’s diverse population. The role will suit someone who is looking for a flexible opportunity with an expectation of working 1 to 2 shifts per month at a minimum of 6 hours each. There is no regularity to our programming and the shifts will be offered on an ad hoc basis.
