LEAD AUDIO DOCUMENTARY FACILITATOR
Hoxton Hall is seeking a facilitator with extensive knowledge in working with BAME communities in the context of cultural exploration and identity. This is a 24 week project working with a targeted group to make an audio documentary/podcast about growing up in Hackney between July 2019 and February 2020. We are looking for a creative, responsive and dynamic facilitator that will motivate and engage with young people and be sensitive to their cultural needs.
Candidates should have experience in working with vulnerable young people and be able to respond appropriately to the needs and anticipated safeguarding issues that may arise through the project.
The listening project team will be supported by the Hoxton Hall Participation team to deliver outreach and engagement with young people locally using social media, local networks and outreach to widen participation to harder to reach young participants. In the autumn term a select group will be invited to continue their work at the Hoxton Hall recording studio.

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT WORKER
Hoxton Hall is seeking a Youth Worker support with extensive knowledge in working with BAME communities in the context of cultural exploration and identity. This is a 24 week project working with a targeted group to make an audio documentary/podcast about growing up in Hackney. We are looking for a creative, responsive and dynamic youth worker that will motivate and engage with young people and be sensitive to their cultural needs.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced youth worker with a proven track record of working with challenging young people within centre-based provision. You will have a firm understanding of the role that arts and culture programmes have in both engaging those who are harder to reach and the power these have in supporting young people to increase in confidence, learn transferable skills and gain accreditation.
Candidates should have experience in working with vulnerable young people and be able to respond appropriately to the needs and anticipated safeguarding issues that may arise through the project.
