The object of the Hammersmith and Fulham Arts Festival (HF ArtsFest) is to advance the appreciation of and involvement in the arts in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for the public benefit, in particular but, not exclusively, through the provision of an arts festival.HF ArtsFest Constitution
The first HF ArtsFest was held in 2014 and is now an annual event that provides a platform for local artists to join a diverse arts partnership that offers local business, residents, visitors and tourists the opportunity not only to invest and participate in but also to enjoy high quality artistic experiences.
The HF ArtsFest is a small Community Interest Organisation and registered Charity No: 1162116. Managed by a Board of 8 Trustees and supported by a core of 20 Volunteers, the main aims of the organisation are to empower and enable the local community of Hammersmith & Fulham through participation in the arts.
In 2016, HF ArtsFest 6-12th June, offered over 200 events in 7 days, with 65 Arts Partners comprising of 700 artists and 4,000+ recorded audiences (actual estimate in excess of 6,000+).
Purpose of post
To develop the concept of the Hammersmith and Fulham Disability Arts Festival to the point of
making funding applications.
With all relevant partners explore the possible nature and concept of the Festival, starting from a
focus based on celebrating the abilities and experiences of disabled people through them making
art.
