Head of Programme, The Albany

The new post of Head of Programme will sit alongside the Head of Engagement, allowing the Albany to take on its role within London Borough of Culture whilst maintaining and developing its own programmes across three sites. Full time. Salary £42-46K.

Based in the heart of Deptford, the Albany is an arts centre that exists to inspire, develop and support creativity in South East London. With a year-round programme of events including music, theatre, spoken word and family performance, and award-winning programmes for young creatives and adults over 60, the Albany is led by the talent and imagination of its local community. The Albany has 26 resident organisations and manages and programmes two other buildings – Deptford Lounge and Canada Water Theatre. 

 

The Albany is shortly to take up a new role as the Lead Delivery Partner for London Borough of Culture 2022 in Lewisham. The programme – CULTURAL ACTIVISM – aims to harness the passion and creativity of the cultural sector, and the people of Lewisham, to stimulate and deliver meaningful change.  

The new post of Head of Programme will sit alongside the Head of Engagement, allowing the Albany to take on its role within London Borough of Culture whilst maintaining and developing its own programmes across three sites.

We are looking for an individual with experience of working with strategic partners to deliver multiple objectives, and the ability to create and deliver innovative and ground-breaking artistic projects.

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full-time to 31 March 2023 (open to considering 0.8 FTE)
Salary: £42-46k per annum pro rata, depending on experience
