The Natural History Museum is looking to transform its national engagement activity. To achieve its ambitions, the Museum has created a new role of Head of National Public Programmes. This role reports into the Head of Visitor Experience, Learning and Outreach and will work closely with both the Public Engagement, Science and Development teams as well as the teams at their site in Tring.
The Head of National Public Programmes will be responsible for developing a national strategy for public engagement and implementing an associated programme of activities in order to build profile, increase impact, and to reach large and diverse audiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a portfolio of new and current activity, bringing coherence to existing but disconnected activity, building new partnerships and collaborations and advocating for the Museum and its national role.

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus benefits. An exceptional candidate could expect a salary toward the upper end of the range
