Just some of the plays in Globe to Globe: 37 plays, 37 languages.

This Spring at Shakespeare’s Globe we are presenting the Globe to Globe festival – all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in 37 different languages by 37 different theatre companies from around the world. With these international companies performing for just two performances each, this is a unique celebration of Shakespeare in the year of the Olympics.

Performances suitable for KS3 & 4

We have a Special Schools Offer of £20 tickets for best available seats or £10 tickets for slightly restricted view seats (with a potential saving of £15 per ticket), and we offer one free ticket with every 10 seated tickets. (Subject to availability and excluding Henry V and Othello.) We also have 700 £5 tickets at each performance.

The plays include a productions of Henry VIII in Spanish, Much Ado About Nothing in French and Timon of Athens in German, and it is highly likely that students with English as a second language will have their first language included in the festival (languages include Yoruba, Turkish, Arabic, Greek, Hindi and Gujarati). More information can be found here.
