connectedculture is a network for those working in the participatory arts. While focused on adult participatory arts, the ideas and opportunities shared may have relevance for those working in youth arts.
connectedculture describe themselves as a network for anyone involved in participatory arts who wants to better connect to peers and better advocate for this area of artistic practice. connectedculture aims to create a spirit of generosity, supporting and sharing.
The network aims to:
- Encourage an exchange of ideas and practice
- Influence a wide spectrum of policy making
- Raise the profile and status of adult participatory arts
Members include artists and organisations covering a spectrum of art forms, participants from a range of communities, trusts and foundations, partner organisations, academics and people at the beginning of their careers.
connectedculture’s website offers members the opportunity to connect, have discussions, explore the work of others, share their own videos and photos, share events and opportunities and find new ways to get involved.
