If you are interested in taking Dance GCSE or A Level, but your school doesnt offer it, Study at the Royal Academy of Dance in Battersea.
The courses combine practical and written skills with a focus on choreography and performance, as well as analysis and criticism of dance. They provide a valuable ‘springboard’ into further dance or performing arts courses at higher education level and students attending the Academy benefit from its strong links with the professional dance industry and other academic institutions.
The applicant days are open to prospective students and their parents and will provide an opportunity to get a feel of what it is like to attend the courses, including a tour of the facilities, meeting with the course leaders and current students, watching rehearsals for the forthcoming assessments and asking any questions you may have.
