Gerald Moore Gallery is a purpose-built, professional gallery space
on the site of Eltham College, providing an incredible resource for
students and the community. It has two floors hosting three excellent
exhibition spaces, as well as a workshop that allows for practical
sessions in the gallery spaces. The gallery has regularly borrowed work
from the Hayward touring shows, has commissioned exciting new
exhibitions and has given the chance for students to collaborate to
develop their own exhibitions.
Eltham College are seeking to appoint a Manager to be responsible for the running
and future development of the Gallery. This will involve the promotion
of the gallery across the school and wider community, (including feeder
schools) as well as planning, organising and promoting exhibitions,
courses and events. There is scope to develop the gallery as a centre
for the Arts by engaging with other creative disciplines such as film,
music and drama.
