Engage, the lead advocacy and training network for visual arts engagement and participation, wishes to appoint a freelance facilitator or organisation to deliver a programme of support for Gathering Momentum Young Producers as they co-create a two-day online event for the visual arts engagement workforce.

Gathering Momentum will be an online event co-created by up to 5 Young Producers (18-25yrs) who will receive support and guidance to select proposals, manage a programme budget, and coordinate the online activity. Gathering Momentum will be attended by Engage members who include galleries, arts museums and visual arts organisations, gallery educators, artists, freelancers, students, teachers and curators, and non-member colleagues in the arts sector. Each of the two-days will include selected contributions which respond to the programme theme ‘can you a imagine the future of participatory art?’.
Young Producers will meet regularly online with the Facilitator between December 2022 and March 2023 to devise, plan, coordinate and evaluate the Gathering Momentum programme. Additionally, each Young Producer will receive 3 x 1hour coaching sessions and in-meeting group training with external providers to develop leadership and project coordination skills.
