Community Learning Team is responsible for developing and delivering the
Museums public family programme as well as targeted community engagement work
with local community groups and not-for-profit organisations. The family
programme reaches over 75,000 people each year, with a range of sessions that
include object handling, art and craft, storytelling, large scale performance
events and outdoor nature sessions. Our programming is designed to make our
collections and exhibitions more accessible to families and to provide a
positive experience for family visitors of all ages.

of different ages and respond to their differing needs.
They are
keen to build on the skill set of our existing freelance team and would like to
recruit tutors who have either a disability focus or ESOL experience,
particularly in a family learning environment.
