Tea Dance for Little People (TDLP) requires a team of actors experienced in immersive events and working with family audiences for a production based on the story of a team of artists deployed to Africa during the Second World War. We encourage artists to apply from Manchester, London and the South East within reasonable travel time and distance from Waterloo, London and Manchester City Centre.
We actively seek actors from all backgrounds with experience in magic and film production for this brand new, exciting production at a major national museum.
TDLP have been devising immersive shows and interactive family resources for over 10 years with a range of clients including theatres, museums, children’s centres, libraries, parks and community organisations. Our work is varied and often custom-made so we are looking for team members that enjoy devising and working together with a broad team of creatives involving other performers, composers and designers.

What we are looking for:
- Experience of and interest in working with children and family audiences, including interaction, improvisation and storytelling
- Experience of working in and with museums
- Experience of devising productions and working with other performers and designers
- Good communication skills and confidence
- Up to date DBS check
- Excellent team members with good time management
This will be a 3-performer production but we aim to devise with a larger team to allow for flexibility around individual summer and autumn schedules. We are also looking to build our team of freelancers, especially in the North for future freelance opportunities.
