The Workshop covers:
- What is a Hate Crime and a Learning Disability
Hate Crime - How to spot it
- How does it make people with learning
disabilities feel - What can you do including How do you report
it
The Workshop is run by two Trainers
with a learning disability and supported by a facilitator. We involved year 6 pupils in checking our workshop
and use a film devised and directed by our members to help pupils think about
the issues. We use different creative ways to bring out pupils thoughts and
feelings.
The workshops are 1.5 hours long, but
can be adapted. Wednesdays to Fridays, morning or afternoon slots available.
