Lewisham Speaking Up is an advocacy charity based in
Deptford working with and for people with learning disabilities.
They are offering FREE 1.5 hour workshops for pupils in the
Lewisham borough. These workshops focus on educating and informing about
disability, bullying and hate crime. It is run by two trainers with a learning
disability and supported by a facilitator.

- How to spot it
- How does it make people with learning disabilities feel?
- What can you do including how do you report it?
Originally developed with input from year 6 pupils, they
have to date presented to over 15 schools with great success. The focus is on
using creative methods to convey the message.
