The Pilot strand offers grants of up to £5,000 to organisations to make a short film of less than five minutes long with young people aged 5-18, collaborating with film professionals. The intention is to encourage fruitful, creative partnerships between organisations that work with young people, filmmakers and the film industry.

The Studio strand offers grants of up to £30,000 to organisations with experience and access to facilities to produce between two and four short films over a period of eight months, with young people aged 5-18, collaborating with film professionals. Films should be a maximum of ten minutes long.

The maximum number of Pilot and Studio applications that will be accepted for this round of applications will be 80 in total.

Applicants should submit their bids in plenty of time before the deadline. The cut off point for accepting applications will either be the deadline date or when the maximum number of applications is reached – whichever is sooner.

The next round opens on 16 August and closes at 2pm on 27 September.
