What is the History Bus?
The History Bus is a free school bus scheme that means from 7 May onwards, when visiting one of our properties on either a free self-led education visit or an expert-led Discovery Visit, we can provide financial assistance with the transport costs between your school and your chosen site.
Who Can Apply for the History Bus?
To qualify, your school needs to:
Have booked and confirmed a free self-led education visit (or expert-led Discovery Visit) to an English Heritage property which is to take place between 7 May 2013 and 31 March 2014
Be a non-fee paying UK academy, free school or maintained infant, primary or secondary school OR a Pupil Referral Unit OR a special school with 20% of children in receipt of the Pupil Premium as per the 2012-13 school census*
