The
Unicorn is run by Justin Audibert (Artistic Director) and Bailey Lock
(Executive Director). Helen Tovey, Director of Marketing &
Communications, will be undertaking the role of Executive Director from
May 2021 onwards whilst Bailey is on maternity leave.
The
role of Director of Marketing & Communications (Fixed Term) is
responsible for leading on the development and delivery of the brand,
marketing of projects and productions on-stage and online, delivery of
digital, audience and sales development strategies, and ensuring The Unicorn Theatre
maintains excellent customer service across all touchpoints. During this
busy period they will also launch a new website and reopen the building,
since closure due to Covid in March 2020. As a member of the Senior
Management Team, you will be managed by the Executive Director,
reporting regularly on budgets, income and the performance of the
department in line with agreed targets.
You
have departmental responsibility for a core team of staff across
Marketing, Front of House and Box Office (including a wider customer
facing team of around 20 casual staff), maintain relationships with
multiple partners, including three key freelancers (Design, Press and
Website Project Management).
You
will have a track record of energetic leadership, confident in offering
your team support and direction across three key business areas;
marketing and press, box office and front of house provision.
Salary: £32,000 per anum (4 days a week or equivalent)
