The Albany is a thriving and innovative arts centre in the heart of Deptford that exists to inspire, develop and support creativity for the benefit of our community, encompassing the London Borough of Lewisham and beyond.
The Deputy Technical Manager provides high quality, all round technical and event management support (live sound, lighting, stage, video, stage management) for receiving & producing plays, gigs, events, other collaborative projects and private hires as well as maintenance for all Albany venues and equipment including our partner site, Deptford Lounge.
Using safe working methods and current technical standards, you will contribute to the Albany’s vision as a leading venue for excellent and diverse performance art. You will be able to plan and work independently as well as deputise for the Head of Technical as required. Including advancing productions, rota-ing and supervising contracted and freelance staff and taking a lead on delegated projects.

Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
