Sydenham Film Club are looking for:
- a paid part-time co-ordinator (to programme, publicise and manage film events)
- board members (Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer)
- volunteers to run the event, design and distribute posters, and run the social media promotions.

The film club launched in 2011 with funding from Sydenham Local Assembly. We run film screenings in the back room of the Golden Lion pub in Sydenham on the last Thursday of the month, as well as special events for Sydenham Arts Festival.
Popular events include DVD screenings of The Artist, Carnage, Marley and The Skin I Live In, as well as regular screenings of short films. See www.sydenhamfilmclub.org
PART TIME CO-ORDINATOR (6.5 hours per month)
The coordinator looks after the day-to-day running of the film club. Duties include:
- programming and licensing the film programme
- writing content for the website, Facebook and other listings sites
- managing the production and distribution of posters/flyers
- setting up the projector, DVD player, audio and cinema screen.

VOLUNTEERS and BOARD MEMBERS
The coordinator is supported by a small team of volunteer ushers and promoters. Ushers are required for three hours a month. Promotion duties range from one to six hours per month.
As a constituted group, the film club also requires three (unpaid) board members:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Treasurer
At the moment, our board members are also our volunteers! Board members meet every six months, and attend other relevant meetings such as Sydenham Local Assembly.
