This programme will support people to use arts and creativity to make positive changes in their communities.

We are looking to support at least 10 communities across England who are using the arts and creativity to make positive social change in their local areas. We are currently in the first phase of the programme, the community call out phase, in which we are asking communities to express an interest in being part of the programmes next phase – the development phase.
We will be accepting expressions of interest until 28th September 2018, after which we will select at least 10 communities to work with, helping them to develop their ideas and local plans and decide what support and funding they would need to deliver these (between £50,000 and £300,000 in each local community).
The final programme delivery phase will start in February 2019. This will be the point at which some or all of the communities we have worked with will receive funding to deliver their plans locally.
We are interested in sharing experiences and learning from the programme to inspire others to use the arts and creativity to make positive change.
The programme is a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Local Trust.
