Connections is the NT’s nationwide youth theatre festival, and this role is an exciting role for someone with experience of theatre producing or work with young people. The Assistant Producer supports the daily running of the Connections programme, in particular acting as the point of contact between participating youth theatres and schools and freelance staff and artists working on the programme. They are also responsible for the coordination of events that take place as part of the programme, maintaining the programme website and implementing communications about ConnectionsThe successful candidate will have the following:

Great communication skills – a confident and friendly telephone manner and good written and face to face communication skills

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a self-directed way, when required
-
Good team working skills and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a wide range of partners.

Professional experience in a theatre or an arts organisation

An understanding of the youth theatre sector

Some experience of developing digital resources.
