Exciting
opportunity to work with the community of Whitefoot Ward in Lewisham. This new
Community Development Worker post is funded by the London Borough of Lewisham,
the main purpose is the identification of community development “needs”
within the North Downham and Whitefoot ward and thereafter assist in the
development and production of appropriate policies, strategies and plans that
seek to address those needs.  The post-holder will be employed by
Goldsmiths Community Association and will work with the Board of Trustees to
help shape the future for Goldsmiths Community Centre and the wider community
in Whitefoot Ward.

The opportunity comes as the Community Centre returns to full
use by the public following a period of closure.  The appointed
post-holder will bring experience of community development work, with a proven
track record of success, and will display the essential enthusiasm and
commitment required to extend the work of the Association beyond the walls of
the Centre.
