Moonshot/ IRIE Dance Theatre Event:
Surjit Power is working with
IRIE! to set up partnerships, get to know other organisations and
provide information about events, activities and projects in Evelyn and
New Cross Assemblies.
To bring together local
communities and organisations to add value to the services we have to
offer, Surjit would like to organise a Young People’s Event (14-25 years
old), on 12th December – from 2pm to 6pm at the Moonshot Centre. The
event will tackle issues of Anti-Social Behaviour and Drugs,
with stalls providing information to young people on drugs, health
including sexual health and workshops, talks by the Safer Neighbourhood
Teams, Stop and Search Team and Mental Health Organisations.
They hope
to provide dance performances, open mic and use the Moonshot wall space
to exhibit some art work from local artists. If you or your
organisation is interested in supporting/helping out and providing
workshops, please let Surjit know.
