Call out for Young Creatives!

Lewisham Education Arts Network (LEAN) is looking for young people enthusiastic about arts and cultural opportunities to play a key role in our AGM and arts education conference on 6th February 2020.

LEAN
are looking for dynamic individuals between the ages of 16-18 who can
contribute to a discussion about arts and cultural policy and provision for
young people in Lewisham in the light of new national research. The session
will be led by an experienced facilitator and the group’s opinions will be presented
to an audience of teachers, artists, arts managers, youth workers and local
politicians for further debate during the AGM the same night. 

We are seeking young participants from
across the borough and from all art forms. 

Please
speak to young people you work with and pass on recommendations to us for any
students or individuals who would like to play a key role in shaping discussions about
the arts and culture provision within Lewisham – now and in the future.

is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get their voices heard and make
their views known to
Nicky Morgan, Director of Special
Projects, Arts Council England
, who will
be giving us a roundup of the key findings from the Durham Commission Report as
part of the evening.
