Spare Tyre are looking for submissions from people who have lived experience of shielding. This can be shielding yourself, someone you love shielding, or an experience shielding long before Covid.
The submission can be in any form (play, monologue, song, poem etc), but must be no longer than 600 words or 3 minutes.The live event will be Wednesday 4th November at 8pm. The evening will be an online storytelling event created by professional artists and everyday writers.

Bring your cosiest jumper, a cushion or two, cocoa or a brandy and be transported to a timeless fireside experience of romance, fury, humour and deceit who knows what our storytellers will offer for us.
