Lewisham Borough of Culture are ready to begin the process of identifying two of their key Borough of Culture delivery partners - Education and Volunteering.

Volunteering Partner
Working
closely with Lewisham Council the Volunteering Partner will be expected
to explore the opportunities within the borough of culture programme
for residents to share time and skills with each other, developing a
creative timebanking approach that will include opportunities for
creative skills exchange, sharing of cultural experiences,
cross-cultural and intergenerational exchanges and cultural activism.
Education Partner
The
Education Partner will be working to explore the possibilities and
support the structures for schools and colleges to connect with the
borough of culture programme as it is developed. This will include
included connecting with the curriculum and school structure,
identifying creative delivery opportunities for schools and connecting
schools and colleges to arts organisations.
