The Royal Opera House are now seeking a dynamic individual to join their Bridge team to play an active role supporting schools, FE colleges and Youth Justice settings to gain Artsmark across North Kent, Medway, Essex, Luton, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. This will include specific responsibilities with regard to the management of ROH Bridge role as an Artsmark training agency and also more general advocacy for cultural entitlement and progression in cultural learning. The role will also offer operational support to ROH Bridge events more generally.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • First hand knowledge of Artsmark, either through working in an Artsmark school or through experience as an applicant/trainer/validator or advocate for Artsmark.
  • Working knowledge of the formal education sector, including a deep understanding of how cultural learning can contribute to school improvement.
  • High level project planning and management skills including the ability to keep to a budget and achieve project objectives.
  • Evidence of strategic thinking and planning in a related field
