Bigfoot Arts Education, the UK’s largest provider of creative, educational workshops in schools is currently looking to recruit an Arts Education Intern.
The position would involve working three days per week from the office in Clapham, South West London where the candidate will learn every aspect of Arts Administration from Marketing to Accounts, HR to Project Management and working two days per week in primary schools, practically delivering various Bigfoot Programmes.
This is a term time only position and the salary is £8613 per annum (pro rata). The Internship will run from September 2014 – July 2015.
The position would suit a recent graduate who is looking to forge a career in Arts Education – either as workshop leader or an Arts Administrator/Manager as you will gain extensive experience in both aspects of the industry.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- A degree in the Arts
- Some experience of working with children of primary school age, ideally in an educational setting
- A passion for arts education
- Basic office skills e.g. MS Word and Excel
