The scheme has a total budget of £20 million available for distribution. £12 million has been allocated for the first round. A second round worth £8 million will open in 2013.
Individual organisations can apply for a capital grant of between £100,000 and £499,999.
Applications are invited from arts organisations operating across the private and third sectors in England. Eligible organisations are those that deliver arts activities which can engage people in England or help artists to carry out their work. The sponsors priority will be to support its National Portfolio organisations that currently own or operate arts buildings and can demonstrate that capital investment will increase their resilience in the longer term.
