The People’s Cathedral Project, a Heritage Lottery
funded initiative, wish to appoint 2 Artists in Residence each for a period of
6 months during a programme of large scale building work (the Capital Build) at
Guildford Cathedral. Each Artist will be required to interpret the Capital
Build as a way of communicating, capturing and generating interest in this
unique project.

The residency has a strong emphasis on community engagement and outreach with
the appointed artists providing a range of opportunities for children, young
people and adults to be inspired by their work.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 29th May 2015.
Interviews will take place during week commencing 8th June 2015, with the
contract being formally awarded week commencing week commencing 22nd June 2015.
