Richmond Arts Service and Orleans House Gallery is seeking up to 4 creative freelance artists with experience of facilitating art workshops to deliver our core schools workshop programme from September 2023 to July 2024. Activity is aimed at students from Early Years through to Key Stage 3, though will primarily engage Primary School audiences. Workshops focus on drawing skills, printing and engaging Early Years audiences with our gallery spaces.

This opportunity would suit an artist with experience in facilitating art-based sessions for schools or young people, or with another socially engaged participatory practice. We are looking for artists who are experienced in leading drawing based, printing and gallery-based activities with audiences. We are interested in hearing from artists who are looking to expand their practice in participation so don’t be put off if you haven’t worked directly with schools before.
