Looking for artists to contribute to a public art trail of 50 giant Snoopys in Cardiff.

Dogs Trust, in partnership with Wild in
Art and the world-famous Snoopy, is inviting people to explore the city
of Cardiff through an exciting new art trail in Spring 2022. As
communities across the world continue to deal with and recover from the
effects of Coronavirus, A Dogs Trail provides Cardiff with a fully
inclusive, fun and inspiring mass participation event promoting
wellbeing, community spirit and the love of dogs!
Over 50 giant Snoopy sculptures will
adorn the city centre, each with a unique design and together
creating a safe, free, fun and family friendly trail. At the end of the
trail, the Snoopys will be auctioned to raise money for Dogs Trust, our
new Cardiff rehoming centre and the 14,000 dogs that we care for each
year in the UK.
Designs are
welcome from both emerging and established artists in any medium;
traditional to new media, fine art, graffiti, illustration or mosaic.
Designs will be shortlisted before being presented to sponsors.
Those that are successfully chosen will then be commissioned and upon
completion each artist will receive a £900 commission fee, as well as
the opportunity to showcase their work as part of this
event.
