Lewisham Council in partnership with Age Exchange Theatre are creating the first ever Intergenerational Arts Festival in London in 2011. The festival will take place in April 2011 in different venues in Lewisham. Age Exchange Theatre in Blackheath will be creating a new intergenerational piece of theatre to present as part of the festival.
Age Exchange Theatre offer two Youth Theatres 8-12 and 13 -18 which are both free.

Age Exchange Youth Theatres work with reminiscence and memories to create theatre and film. The work involves meeting and working with older residents in creative projects. Rehearsals and meetings are usually on Saturdays.
