Lewisham Youth Theatre is seeking an Actor for our Young Touring Company, part of our Step Up Project.

You will work alongside our Director & professional creative team, performing with, & supporting/mentoring, 3 Creative Apprentices (aged 16-24) to create a forum piece & accompanying workshop that will tour to Lewisham Secondary Schools in March 2019.
We are looking for a young actor, male or female, with a playing age of 16 to 25 with experience of devising & performing Forum Theatre for young audiences. This is an acting role with additional support/mentoring for the Creative Apprentices.
Fee: Up to £1000 (depending on experience).
Dates
Rehearsals : Wed 8th May & Wed 15th May,
then Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Tues 4th June to Tues 2nd July
Schools Tour: Wed 3rd & Thurs 4th July, Tuesday 9th, Wed 10th
Performance at the International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston: Thurs 11th July
Plus a public performance at The Broadway Studio Theatre, Catford date to be confirmed
Evaluation session – Wed 17th July.
