The Government has just increased the budget for emergency funding through the Culture Recovery Fund by £30million to support museums, cinemas, theatres and heritage organisations through the impact of the Omicron variant this winter.

This fund aims to provide emergency funding awards to
organisations that were financially sustainable before Covid-19 but are now at imminent
risk of failure and have exhausted all other options for increasing their
resilience.
This is a rolling programme, and applications are subject to
permission to apply being granted, at which point applications must be made
within 5 working days. You can submit a permission to apply up until 12pm
(midday) on 18 January 2022. The deadline for applications Is 4 February
2022.
SOME OF THE KEY INFORMATION
Grant range
Generally, between £25,000 and £3 million (£1 million for for-profit organisations)
However, if you’ve already received a grant from the Culture Recovery Fund, there are limited to how much you can apply for:
if you are a non-profit organisation, the maximum you can receive in total across all rounds is £4 million
if you are a for-profit (commercial) organisation, the maximum you can receive in total across all rounds is £1.5 million
Key dates
This is a rolling programme and applications can be submitted between 29 November 2021 and 4 February 2022 with decisions communicated within six weeks, where possible.
Applications are subject to permission to apply being granted, at which point applications must be made within 5 working days. Permission to apply requests will be accepted from 12pm (midday) 22 November 2021.

The latest we can accept a permission to apply request is 12pm (midday) on 18 January 2022 (permission to apply is normally granted within five working days after submission).
