National Youth Theatre announce new Auditions Access Fund

Bring free auditions to your school or youth group with the National Youth Theatre's Auditions Access Fund supported by Hugh Bonneville.

Posted: 10/03/2022

As part of the National Youth Theatre’s ongoing commitment to outreach and access, we’ve launched a new Auditions Access Fund, supported by NYT Alumnus and Patron Hugh Bonneville. The grant of £37,500 will support free participation in workshops and auditions over three years at 30 schools and youth groups around Great Britain which have lost drama provision.

How do I apply?

To register your interest and learn more about this opportunity on behalf of your school or youth group please complete the short online form here and we will be intouch.

When will the auditions take place?

The Audition Access Fund auditions will happen at the same time as our annual national auditions. Next year this will be between January – March 2019. Anyone aged between 14-25 can take part.

What happens if I am successful?

If you successfully audition or interview you will be invited to join one of the National Youth Theatre’s prestigious summer courses. Following the course you will become a company member of the organisation which can open doors to a wealth of further opportunities within the National Youth Theatre and beyond. Find out more about NYT Membership
