Usva Inei

I am a practicing visual artist and artist educator with over a decade of experience running art workshops for young people. I work with various forms of printmaking, drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media. I have further developed a lot of inclusive and accessible approaches of working with various materials.

I often work with SEND groups, migrant and refugree groups, as well as the LGBTQ+ and trans communities.

I have experience working in schools, as well as with community centres, museums, galleries, and libraries.

I love working with young people to help them learn skills, to support them in discovering new things about themselves and the world around them, and, most importantly, to create a safe space for them to experiment and explore. I believe art has an important role in individual and communal wellbeing, and allowing people to access this is central to my practice.
