www.ican.org.uk This is the
home website for Helping Children Communicate charity ICAN. There is useful
information on language development, advice for parents/carers and events
taking place.

This website is run by ICAN working with Afasic charity (www.afasicengland.org.uk) and the
Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy. It provides information and
resources on helping children’s language/communication develop for parents and professionals

Caroline Bowen’s (SLT) website has information about speech and language
difficulties advice on how to support your child and resources you can use to
support your child’s speech sound development.

Action for Stammering Children. Based in the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children (MPC), a key partner of the Charity, Action for Stammering Children commissions the MPC to deliver specialist assessments and therapies that change the lives of children and young people who stammer. They also coordinate various projects across the country aimed at boosting the confidence of young people who stammer, and allowing them to have a voice in the direction of the Charity.
