This day symposium will examine some of the tensions and commonalities
that have resulted from ‘In Site of Conversation’ research, and the
wider implications of the relationship between schools, galleries and
artists.
This event ‘Towards an Avant-Gardist Conception of Gallery Education’ is part of a two year research and development project at Tate Modern called ‘In Site of Conversation‘, which includes artists’ projects, a programme of ‘conversations’ and a series of journals.
