The Culture Capital Exchange presents: Research, Creativity and Business 2: Making the Extraordinary

Following the success of our inaugural conference on Creativity and Business in 2012, The Culture Capital Exchange is delighted to announce ‘Research, Creativity and Business 2: Making the Extraordinary’ in partnership with Cass Business School and supported by Creativeworks London.

Date: 18/05/2024 – 18/05/2024

‘Making the Extraordinary’ brings together: leading edge
researchers and thinkers, artists, creatives, technology innovators and people
‘to watch’, to share their knowledge, experience and challenges of trying to do
just that.  Showcasing some of the rich
sets of interconnections between research, the creative sectors and the wider
business worlds, the conference will ask some timely questions about how – or
indeed whether – these fields could work together to realise the full potential
of applying their respective intelligence, knowledge and creativity.

for discussion will include: what is the potential for greater connectivity and
what do we gain from working and playing better, smarter and closer? What are
our ambitions to make the extraordinary and who’s doing it? How could applying
creativity and creative thinking more widely enrich our social, cultural and
economic lives?

The day is
about exploring potential, encouraging play and debate, showcasing projects and
partnerships and creating a space to propose and address social, technological
and economic challenges.

confirmed contributors:  Tim Jones (Executive
Director, Moti Roti), Lydia Fraser-Ward (Co-Founder, Fantasy High Street),
Lynne Murray (Brand Director Holition), Nick Hand (Slow Coast), Becky Stewart
(Codasign) and Professor Maurice Biriotti (SHM Productions). Conference chair:
