A one-day symposium taking place at the Southbank Centre on Monday 2 February, this Inspire Event celebrates London's rich cultural offer and invites teachers and the wider music education community to debate and share best practice.

As part of the Teach Through Music programme a year-long professional development programme for KS3 music teachers in London schools this Inspire Event is open to
all in the wider music education community and aims to celebrate Londons rich
cultural offer, and create a dialogue between Londons cultural organisations
and its schools. An all-day free event at the Southbank Centre on Monday 2 Feb.
Highlights of the day include:
peoples panel made up of young musicians from Southbank Centre projects,
Southwark Music Service Saturday School, and chaired by Adem Holness a
Roundhouse Young Trustee and member of Wired4Music

ideas and challenges faced by schools and cultural organisations
