Every year the National Gallery’s Take One Picture scheme for primary schools focuses on one painting from the collection to inspire cross curricular learning in primary classrooms. This year the painting is “Men of the Docks” by George Bellows (1912).
During January the entire school from Nursery to Year 6 explored this painting in lots of exciting ways. See the attached flyer for full details.
After the Private View, the exhibition is open 1 – 8 March, Monday to Friday 3-4.30 pm or by appointment 9-11am.
