SPARC Community of Practice: Arts and Resilience

For those interested in arts and resilience with children and young people in Lewisham.

SPARC aims to increase artists’ ability to
apply resilience practice to their arts practice, and
effectively measure the impact of this work with children and young people (10-16yrs).

A group of local arts practitioners and related professionals are regularly meeting
(supported by LEAN) to achieve the above aim through several activities. Anyone can join the meetings who works locally using the arts with children and young people, and is interested in resilience in practice.

Meeting dates:

24th March: 10:00 –

16th May at Horniman Museum and Gardens, including a chance to observe a session.

1st July: 13:00 –

18th July: 13:00 –
16:00

(all at Trinity Laban, Deptford unless specified)

This programme will run until September 2016

Lewisham Education Arts Network and Trinity Laban Conservatoire
of Music and Dance invited artists and creatives to come together to build a
Community of Practice (CoP) as part of our SPARC project. This is funded by HeadStart Lewisham.
