Opening Up Creative Careers: an industry breakfast roundtable
Tuesday 14th July, 9-11am @ Roundhouse Works
As part of a new research project exploring the future of our Roundhouse Workspace programme, we’re bringing together creative industry professionals, employers, freelancers, educators and sector leaders to discuss what it takes for young people who experience financial barriers to build sustainable creative careers today.
This breakfast roundtable will explore the financial barriers facing emerging freelancers and entrepreneurs, and consider the role organisations can play in creating more equitable routes into the creative industries.
This conversation will help shape future Roundhouse Works programmes, informing new approaches to financial support and creating more equitable pathways into the creative industries.
We’re looking forward to an open and practical discussion that brings together different perspectives, challenges assumptions and helps identify meaningful ways to make creative careers more accessible for the next generation.
