Migration Museum Project: Education Preview Evening

Date:
Wed, 26/02/2020 - 16:30 - 19:30

The Migration Museum Project will be opening their new home in Lewisham Shopping Centre this year. Come to an education preview evening to hear more about the museum, speak to their learning team, and check out their education resources.

The Migration Museum project is working towards the goal of creating Britain's first national museum of migration, exploring the vast story of migration to and from these shores and the impact this has on us as individuals and as a nation.

Excitingly, from February 2020 the museum is opening its doors in Lewisham, in the heart of Lewisham Shopping Centre! Launching with their critically acclaimed exhibition Room to Breathe, an immersive installation which explores the personal stories of people who have made Britain their home.

They are hosting an education preview evening to give teachers the opportunity to hear more about the museum, speak to their learning team, and check out their education resources. This is taking place from 4.30-7.30pm on Wednesday 26th February.

The museum will be welcoming students after February half-term. If you are interested to find out more or to book, please contact Education Manager, Liberty Melly on liberty@migrationmuseum.org
