PAL (Participatory Arts London) invites you to a Facilitators' Network marketplace event at Roundhouse on Friday 17th July, 10am-1pm. This is a chance to meet companies who are looking for freelance artists, to network with one another, and to take part in a Q&A where you get to ask questions of project managers from a variety of different arts organisations.
Date: 03/11/2024 – 03/11/2024
Time: 10:00
PAL is: a collective voice for people that design, produce and facilitate
participatory arts in London. We reflect on our practice to pursue peer-to-peer
learning. In the main, most of the 140+ people in our PAL Network are people
who are working full-time for organisations as project managers. We are
developing a Facilitators Network so as to cater for the needs of freelance
artists working in participatory arts. We plan to hold one of these marketplace events at the end of
every term with the aim of eventually getting to the stage where we can hold
skills exchanges and some light-touch training as part of them.
Organisations running stalls include:
- Roundhouse
- Half Moon
- Young Vic
- Cardboard Citizens
- London Bubble
- Freshwater
- Jacksons Lane
- Mousetrap
- Artsdepot
RSVP to participatoryartslondon@gmail.com

If you are able to stay for the afternoon (2-5pm) to pass your
knowledge on to some young facilitators who are just starting out in the
industry, please do. Our first Young Facilitators Event will take place from
2-5pm that afternoon. Help us to make it a success!
